【Product Introduction】

1,2-Pentylene glycol contains both hydrophilic and lipophilic groups, therefore it is soluble in both water and many oils. 1,2-Pentylene glycol can be used as a solvent for many cosmetic ingredients, including active additives, preservatives, polymers, and fragrances. In serums or gels, it helps enhance the transparency of the system. Because 1,2-Pentylene glycol is soluble in many oils, it can be used as a moisturizer in anhydrous formulations. 1,2-Pentylene glycol can also enhance the dispersibility of powders.

Preservative-Enhancing Moisturizers:
